Since 2003, I have been assisting clients
with the filing of individual and small business
tax returns. From small businesses to corporations, I have experience in
handling a wide range of tax matters.
I hold a Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) and I am proud to be a member of the Professional Association of Small
Business Accountants (PASBA) & the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). I also hold an AFSP Record of Completion every year with the IRS as a trained tax preparer.
I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest industry news and regulations by regularly renewing my knowledge through print,
online training, and seminars.
Personal Life & Experience
I am married with two daughters and two grandchildren. I live and work in Alachua, Florida and enjoy canning, gardening, and attending skills conferences that teach
all the things I wish I’d learned from my grannies.
I enjoy spending time with my family and
traveling in my RV with my husband & our small dog.
I have had the privilege of working with both
NASCAR and NHRA in the past.
These experiences taught me the importance
of qualities like patience, kindness, and honesty
regardless of someone's wealth or fame.
I bring my outgoing personality and diverse industry knowledge to provide you with a business experience
that I am sure you will love. Additionally, as my business is completely remote, there are no stuffy offices to visit,

I founded Morales Services, Inc. DBA Hometown Accountant in 2018 to give people a more personal business accounting experience. We are not a big box tax corporation, nor are our accounting clients numbers in a graph. We personalize your accounting experience to what you actually need and care about. She graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2009 with a Masters of Science in Accountancy.
She came to work with Hometown Accountant in April 2022 as an independent bookkeeper

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and her dogs on her farm.

Leann joined our team in April 2024, so you've probably heard her cheery NJ accent by now.
She grew up in New Jersey, where she still lives with her husband, two children and dogs.

Brian Shey

Brian has an extensive background in the financial industry and has been serving clients since 1996. His experience spans over two decades from serving as COO or CFO of multiple organizations to founding his company, SterlingWyatt, P.A. He possesses wide knowledge of financial statements, tax returns, P&L statements, and the necessary skills to run businesses efficiently and effectively.
​Brian received his Bachelor’s from the University of Florida.

When not serving clients, you’ll find Brian
spending time with his family
and coaching his boys’ basketball and baseball teams.
Recently, Brian retired from
a 26-year career as an NCAA Division I
men’s basketball official,
working across conferences
such as the SEC, ACC, and American Conference.
